2 Cups Flour
1/2 tsp. Baking powder
1/2 tsp. Salt
3/4 Cups Shortening
1/2. Cup Water
1 TBLS. Lemon juice
2 Egg yolks
10 or more Apples - Tart cooking
1 Cup Sugar
1/4 tsp. Salt
1 Tbls. Flour
1/2 tsp. Cinnamon
1/2 tsp. Nutmeg

Mix ingred. for crust. Flour, baking powder, salt, and cut in shortening. ADD: lemon juice, yolks and water minus 1 TBLS. water. Roll out the dough to fit a jelly roll pan. Half on the bottom and half for top crust. Mix apples and rest of ingred. Pour apples on bottom crust. Roll out the top crust and put on apples. Prick top with a fork. Bake 350 - 1 hour When cooled frost. FROSTING: 1 Cup powdered sugar 1/2 stick soft butter vanilla milk
