  4 Cups Flour
1 Cup Water
1 LB Butter
1 tsp Vanilla
1 LB Almond Paste
3 Whole Eggs
2 Cups Sugar
 
 

Crust:

Combine Flour, Water and Butter to make dough.  Mix well.  Make into a log, wrap in plastic wrap and refridgerate overnight.

 

Filling:

Mix vanilla, almond paste, eggs and sugar together.

 

Cut dough into 14 peices.  Roll each peice of dough into a 12x3 inch portion.  Pipe filling down the middle.  Fold dough around filling.  Pinch the ends.  Place on cookie sheet seam side down.

Whip an egg with some water and brush the tops, sprinkle with sugar.  

Bake at 350 until golden brown.
