  Swiss Cheese Chicken

  3 Whole Chicken Breasts
3 Slices Swiss Cheese
2 Whole Eggs
1 Cup Dry Breadcrumbs
3/4 Cup Butter, divided
4 TBLS Flour
1/4 tsp Salt
1/4 tsp Pepper
2 Cups Milk
1/3 Cup Parmasen Cheese
 
 
  1. Split the chicken into 6 peices.
  2. Season with Salt and Pepper.
  3. Dip into 2 eggs (beaten).
  4. Then Dip into dry breadcrumbs.
  5. Brown chicken in 1/2 cup of butter.
  6. Then make cream sauce. Start with 4 Tbls butter.
  7. Add flour, salt, pepper, and 2 cups milk (more milk can be added if mixture is too thick).
  8. Pour about 3/4 of the sauce into a shallow baking dish.
  9. Place Chicken in sauce.
  10. Cover each peice with a swiss cheese slice.
  11. Cover with remaining sauce.
  12. Sprinkle with parmesan cheese.
  13. Bake in a 350 degree oven for 20 minutes covered.
  14. Uncover sprinkle with more cheese and continue baking for 25-30 minutes or until golden brown.
