  Breakfast Cookies

  2 sticks softened butter
1 cup brown sugar
1/2 cup sugar
2  eggs
1 tsp. pure almond extract
1 tsp. pure vanilla extract
1 1/2 cups flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. cinnamon
3 cups regular or quick cook oats
1 cup raisins
1 cup dried cranberries
1 cup flaked baking coconut
1 cup slivered almonds, toasted (toast 10 min. in 350 oven)
 
 
  1. In a mixing bowl, cream together the butter and sugars until fluffy. 
  2. Add the eggs and extracts and beat well.
  3. Add the flour, baking soda, cinnamon and oats and mix.
  4. Fold in the remaining ingredients and stir until blended.
  5. Drop by the tablespoon on to ungreased cookie sheets and bake.

  14-16 minutes
